Anybody know if Southside will be playing the Stone Pony next July 3rd. It's my 50th birthday, so will be travelling over from England to do a New Jersey tour, finishing with a night at the Pony!!

July 1st, 2017! It's a Saturday!

I'm assuming no tickets on sale yet... can't find any reference anywhere on this?? Where did you see the post please??

Uncle south has added Sherry Darling to the setlist rotation for the past year and a half since he did his Springsteen show at the Stone Pony. My guess is that's a live cut from those shows or this past new years eve in Red Bank NJ.So there is no official release. Would b great to be able to buy his shows Like the jam bands do!!!

I was listening to E Street Radio a couple of days ago and they played the Jukes doing Sherry Darling and it sounded great. The horns were tremendous. It was described as an Exclusive. Anyone know where this came from or if it is available to buy? Thanks. Steve

Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes will be playing at the historic Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ the day after Thanksgiving (11/25/16). The night is billed as "The Concert for Brendan", in memory of Brendan Tevlin who was tragically killed in 2014. This is the third "Concert for Brendan" and second time Southside is headlining. Tickets are available at GVEL.brownpapertickets.com. It will be another great show.

I bring very sad news from the UK. John Crossland, better known as Bradford John, died suddenly earlier this week.

John was a devoted SSJ fan and was a familiar sight with his camera at Jukes gigs throughout the north of England. Particularly memorable were the photographs he took of 14 year old Chris introducing the band at Holmfirth. He was at Holmfirth in April for the Jukes' most recent visit to the UK and was in his usual good humour. It is such a shock to learn that he we will no longer see him at Holmfirth and elsewhere.

Our thoughts are with his wife Jackie and the rest of his family. RIP Bradford John.

Not sure if there are any " Blue Bloods " ( TV Show ) Fans on here but on Fridays episode, Frank was dealing with some high roller and he was having a bash in the Hamptons that he wanted Frank to attend, he was kind of begging at this point and his ace in the hole was " Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes " are playing it, Frank agreed at this point, I got a big kick out of it... :)

Another great show from Johnny & the boys spurred on by Billy Walnuts on guitar. If Glenn ever leaves permanently let Billy plug in.

Does anyone know the name of the warm-up act?

Anyone know when the show videotaped at the Iridium in NYC for the Front and Center series last November will be broadcast?

Great show last night, even when their monitors were on the fritz! Kitty's Back was on the 'official' set list, although they didn't perform it.

Hi,

Johnny plays in whatever key is needed for the song. He's got a tray on the drum riser with about 8 different harmonicas in different keys.

And here's last night's setlist from Athens, NY, which, Johnny mentioned, is the Athens of New York.

Gin Soaked Boy
Love on the Wrong Side of Town
Broke Down Piece of Man
Walk Away Renée
Harder Than It Looks
All I Can Do
Spinning
Cadillac Jack
Tired Skin
Talk to Me
The Fever
I Don’t Want to Go Home
We're Having a Party

Encore:
Goodnight My Love/Hearts of Stone

Band Lineup:
Southside Johnny, vocals, harmonica and percussion
Jeff Kazee, keyboards and percussion
John Conte, bass
Glenn Alexander, guitar
Tom Seguso, drums
John Isley, tenor sax and baritone sax
Chris Anderson, trumpet and percussion
Neal Pawley, trombone

Southside can't figure it out either! I've heard the band adjust to what he was blowin' on several occasions.
